Yoga & Mindfulness is a workshop for parents, teachers, educators and yoga instructors looking to assist children in improving their ability to regulate emotion and increase attention in healthier ways.
The practices of yoga and mindfulness offers rich experiences that can profoundly impact the lives of young people. These are tools to become more fully present in the world, with a greater capacity to recognize our own needs, challenges and strengths. In sharing these practices with young people, remember that the greatest offering you can make is being mindful of your own practices.
Children of all ages need to be seen, encouraged and to feel that adults in their lives are on their side. If you can accomplish this, than you are helping them improve their capacity through emotional regulation and increased attention.
